No Ndokwa Musician ever sang in the Delta State House of Assembly or at the Federal Level.
Let it be known that up till date non of our musicians have ever been given the opportunity to play for the Federal or State Government irrespective of our people being there.
Even our top musicians who have been known internationally were never invited to sing for the Federal or State Government. does this mean that our musicians are not good enough or what can one say about this ugly trend?

Most of our leaders have spent good numbers of years at Government houses and yet they have never brought one of our own to sing or promote.
It should be noted that Ndokwa is the home of Talents and we are rated the best when it comes to high life music in the entire World and even our Hip Hop and other styles are being rated high.
do you also know that there is no good public sound system for Ndokwa Musicians and no Stage set. whenever there is a major concert in Ndokwa nation they go as far as Port Harcut and Benin to hire instruments and other equipment. there are no good video studios in Ndokwa nation and we dont even have good sound engineers in Ndokwa nation.
Talents are meant to be nourished and Trained. yes, its a God given ability but when garnished with good training it will become reality and for the benefit of all.
DO YOU ALSO KNOW THAT MOST OF OUR LEADERS PREFER OTHER MUSICIANS TO NDOKWA MUSICIANS AND TALENTS?
When they have occasions they go as far as Lagos, Warri, Abraka, Benin and Calabar to bring musicians to play for them and when they eventually call our own they treat them with total disdain and disrespect. you can attest to this with the amount they pay them. when they invite others they pay ranging from 250,000.00 (two hundred and fifty thousand naira) and above but when they invite our own they pay nothing more than 80,000.00.

We have good MC and Comedians here in Ndokwa, who ever paid any of them 50,000.00 (fifty thousand naira only)? we have MC Otigbuanyinya, Ogbome-Egbu onyela, MC Late Ojumah, MC Borbito and the rest.
We have good upcoming Hip Hop Stars shaking the industries like Double Face,OBI.com, Jmol, Da Williams Motive Bill, Obaino, Ugbe Emmiliano Emmy, Mac Haggy, Teacher Romanson, King Rudee and the rest, Who ever paid them 50k to perform?
