NDOKWA TALENTS MEETS HIS EXCELLENCY, CHIEF ENGR. DELE OMENOGOR

THE VIDEO CHAT WITH HIS EXCELLENCY, AMB. CHIEF ENGR DR DELE OMENOGOR AND NDOKWA TALENTS ON 6TH OF MAY 2017

MODERATOR: Sir Lets meet you
CHIEF DELE: I am Engr. Chief Dele Omenogor, the Odogwu Adiebwo 1 of Amai Kingdom
MODERATOR: What have you done to maintain Peace and Unity in Ndokwa Nation?
CHIEF DELE: I have done a lot of things to maintain Peace and Unity in Ndokwa Nation. I have had meetings with any warring groups and communities. It may not just be where I come from but provided it is Ndokwa Nation because whatever affects an Ndokwa man affects me one way or the other, directly or indirectly. When Umuaja and Obi Obeti had some crisis, I went there on a personal ground and tried my best to join resolve the issues. I go round to preach Peace even in the cases of Amai and neighbours, I also used Ndokwa Talents group to Preach Peace in Ndokwa nation.
MODERATOR: What do you think that will bring and promote Peace in Ndokwa Nation?
CHIEF DELE: The Crisis our people have been having has nothing to do with anything social, it has to do with Lands. God created this world and all the Lands and by the time we die we will be buried there so if we believe that God is the owner of the Land, and we have found ourselves in this part of the World, and we are predominantly farmers, It means we have to advice ourselves and count our teeth’s with our tongue. We should delineate these lands, we should have boundaries. I want to commend the past administration of Hon Chukwudi Dafe because in the case of Amai and Eziokpor, he did his best by creating some boundaries and installed pillars but could not finish up until his administration elapsed, so why should the present administration not continue from where he stopped? The places where boundaries were created are no longer bringing problem save the places where there is no boundaries. So government should as a matter of urgency come in and delineate the lands because a situation whereby these crisis are happening and government fold their hands to watch means that they are benefiting from it. The Local Government Elected Chairman has the power to delineate the lands, create permanent boundaries and that solves the issues. And let me make it clear that we don’t need any Court to adjudicate on this matter because it will not bring the lasting solution, we need to tell ourselves the truth.
MODERATOR: What plans do you have for the Peace and Unity of our People?
CHIEF DELE: Bringing Ndokwa people together requires peace because you cannot be together when you are not peaceful. Let me also use this opportunity to thank Ndokwa Talents. You have been doing wonderfully well. This singular act of the creation of Ndokwa Talents has brought togetherness and Unity. Regular meeting is my subscription because when we meet together regularly we will not be killing ourselves. In short an Umuebu (Young Prince) man was with me here this morning and we took coffee together here in my house. I wish government should do their part. Security Votes should be used for security and not to build houses personally.
MODERATOR: Do you fall among the few that believes Ndokwa can be united for a common purpose?
CHIEF DELE: Yes. But politically we are so greedy. My advice is that we should do away with greed. You will see people going for one position again and again, then how will others grow. We must do away with greed
MODERATOR: What advice do you have for our people based on Peace and Unity?
CHIEF DELE:  The thing that will promote this Peace and Unity in Ndokwa Nation is to continue this crusade of Peace. I know that one day, Peace and Normalcy will return to our land.
